Key takeaways

  • Lemme's own page assigns the job: Eriomin for GLP-1, Supresa for hunger, Morosil for fat reduction. No trial of the combined capsule is cited, and Lemme says its evidence is 'ingredient-level human clinical studies'.
  • Eriomin raised GLP-1 by 17% in a 30-person crossover trial and by 15% in a 103-person trial. In the larger trial, 'Eriomin or placebo did not influence the anthropometric and dietary variables', which include weight.
  • Both Eriomin trials enrolled people with blood sugar above the normal range. Lemme sells Reset for blood sugar 'already in the normal range'.
  • The doses match the trials: 200 mg Eriomin, 176.5 mg Supresa, 400 mg Morosil. That is better than most GLP-1 supplements, whose labels we usually cannot match to any trial.
  • Lemme does not offer returns or exchanges, and one bottle is $80 for 30 days.

Lemme, the supplement brand co-founded by Kourtney Kardashian Barker, sells one of the best-known GLP-1 supplements. Its own product page does something unusual for this category: it names three branded ingredients, gives the exact amount of each, and says which job each one does. That makes it possible to check each claim against the trial behind it.

We read the product listing, Lemme’s refund policy, the trials of all three ingredients, and the court dockets of the three class actions, on 21 October 2026.

What is in the capsule

Lemme launched the product in September 2024 as GLP-1 Daily. On 21 October 2026 the same store listing, published 11 September 2024 and still at the address “lemme-glp-1”, was titled Lemme Reset GLP-1 Production Support Capsules. Per two-capsule serving:

IngredientAmountLemme’s stated jobDose in that ingredient’s trial
Eriomin lemon fruit extract200 mgGLP-1 production, blood sugar200 mg (also 400 and 800 mg, with similar results)
Supresa saffron extract176.5 mgHunger, appetite, snacking176.5 mg
Morosil red orange fruit extract400 mgFat reduction, body composition400 mg

Credit where it is due: every amount matches the dose its trial used. Most GLP-1 supplements we look at use proprietary blends that make that comparison impossible.

A second product with a similar name, Lemme GLP-1 Production Support, is sold only at Walmart. Lemme’s page says it is a different formula: Eriomin plus chromium, berberine, myo-inositol, bitter melon and vitamin B12. Check which bottle you are reading about. For berberine on its own, see our berberine and “nature’s Ozempic” review.

Only one ingredient was studied for GLP-1

Lemme’s own page splits the work: “GLP-1 production → Eriomin”. The saffron and red orange trials measured snacking, appetite, weight and body fat; none of the abstracts we read reports a GLP-1 measurement. So the GLP-1 claim rests on Eriomin, and Eriomin has two published trials.

  • Ribeiro 2019: 103 people with prediabetes took placebo or 200, 400 or 800 mg of Eriomin for 12 weeks. All three doses had similar effects. GLP-1 rose by 15% and blood glucose fell by 5%. In the authors’ words: “Eriomin or placebo did not influence the anthropometric and dietary variables.” Anthropometric variables are body measurements, including weight.
  • Cesar 2022: 30 people with blood sugar above 110 mg/dL (mean 123) took 200 mg a day for 12 weeks, then placebo, or the other way round. GLP-1 rose by 17% and glucose fell by 5%. “Other parameters evaluated did not change with Eriomin or placebo.”

So the ingredient chosen for GLP-1 raised GLP-1, and in those two trials weight did not change.

One later trial points the other way. In 2025 the same Brazilian research group gave people with prediabetes who were already taking metformin a 250 mg citrus flavonoid supplement or placebo for 12 weeks. GLP-1 held steady in the supplement group and fell with placebo, and the authors reported “modest but significant decreases in body weight, fat mass, and BMI.” The abstract does not name the product as Eriomin, and every participant was on metformin, so it does not test what Reset users take. We report it because it is the one result that disagrees.

The trials were in people with high blood sugar

Both Eriomin trials enrolled people with blood sugar above the normal range. The CDC defines a normal fasting blood sugar as “99 mg/dL or below” and prediabetes as 100 to 125. The Cesar trial’s average participant was at 123.

Lemme sells Reset to “support healthy blood sugar levels already in the normal range”. There is no Eriomin trial in that group to show what it does there. And if you do have high blood sugar, a 5% fall over 12 weeks is something to track with your doctor, not a substitute for treatment.

A 15% rise in natural GLP-1 is not a drug dose

GLP-1 is a gut hormone that “is released in response to meal intake,” as Jens Holst wrote in his 2007 review of its physiology, and it “is extremely rapidly metabolized and inactivated by the enzyme dipeptidyl peptidase IV even before the hormone has left the gut.” That fast breakdown is the reason semaglutide (Ozempic, Wegovy) exists: it is a modified version built to last.

Lemme is clear on this point, and fairly so. Its page says Reset “does not contain GLP-1 or synthetic GLP-1 and is not a GLP-1 receptor agonist.” The name on the bottle invites the comparison anyway, and that is what the class actions were about.

Where the weight results come from

The weight-loss evidence in the formula comes from the other two ingredients, each tested on its own.

  • Supresa (saffron), Gout 2010: 60 mildly overweight, healthy women took 176.5 mg a day or placebo for 8 weeks, with no calorie restriction. The saffron group lost more weight (P < .01) and snacked less often (P < .05). The figures Lemme quotes, 69% less hunger, 70% less appetite and 55% fewer snacking events, are not in the abstract; we could not check them.
  • Morosil (red orange), Briskey 2022: 400 mg a day or placebo for 6 months, in adults who were also on a calorie-controlled diet and exercise plan. Of 180 allocated, 136 were analysed. Body mass fell 4.2% with the extract against 2.2% with placebo (p = 0.015). The trial was funded by Bionap, which makes Morosil.
  • A 2026 meta-analysis of three Moro orange trials, 252 people, found an average 2.08 kg more weight loss than placebo, and said “additional research is needed to determine the optimal dosage, duration of supplementation, and underlying mechanisms.”

These are real results at the right doses. They are also small, in specific groups, and in the Morosil case alongside diet and exercise. No trial has tested the three ingredients together.

The lawsuits

In 2025 a California consumer, Christina Robins, filed class actions against Lemme in New York federal court and in California state court. The complaints argued there was no “clinical data that supports the notion that simply boosting the amount of naturally occurring GLP-1 in the body has sustained weight loss effects.” A Lemme spokesperson called the suit “frivolous”.

The court records show how those two ended:

  • New York (No. 1:25-cv-01938): Lemme moved to dismiss on 8 April 2025, and the case was voluntarily dismissed without prejudice on 16 April 2025.
  • California: removed to federal court in November 2025 (No. 2:25-cv-11265) and dismissed by stipulation on 12 December 2025.

Neither docket entry we read says why, or whether money changed hands. No court ruled on whether the claims were true.

A third case is open. On 13 July 2026 another California consumer, Priscilla Tiberia, filed a class action in federal court in Los Angeles (Tiberia v. Lemme Inc., No. 2:26-cv-07581, C.D. Cal.). The complaint concerns “Lemme GLP-1 Daily” capsules bought on lemmelive.com and alleges Lemme falsely advertised “un-hunger” and weight-loss benefits from an increase in GLP-1. These are allegations; the docket showed no ruling, and the case was still open when we checked on 21 October 2026.

Price, refunds and the company

  • Price: $80 for one bottle of 60 capsules, 30 servings, on 21 October 2026, so about $2.67 a day by our arithmetic. Lemme recommends 3 to 6 months, which is $240 to $480.
  • Refunds: “Currently, we do not offer Returns or Exchanges on orders.” That is the whole policy on lemmelive.com. Buy one bottle, not a six-pack, if you want to try it.
  • Better Business Bureau: Lemme, Inc. is not BBB accredited. Its BBB file was opened in December 2023.

Who it might suit

If you want a saffron and red orange supplement at the doses those ingredients were tested at, Reset delivers that, and its label is more transparent than most in this category. If you are buying it because of the “GLP-1” on the bottle, the ingredient responsible for that claim raised GLP-1 modestly in people with high blood sugar and did not change their weight.

We do not link to Lemme. With no returns accepted and no trial of the finished capsule, we cannot point you to a purchase. If weight and blood sugar are the concern, a fasting glucose or HbA1c test with your doctor is the first step; prescription GLP-1 medicines are a conversation for that appointment, not a supplement aisle.

The bottom line

Lemme’s GLP-1 capsule uses three branded extracts at their trial doses, and only one of them, Eriomin, was studied for GLP-1. It raised GLP-1 by 15% to 17% in people with high blood sugar and, in those trials, did not change weight. The weight results belong to saffron and red orange extracts tested separately, one with diet and exercise. There is no trial of the product itself, and Lemme does not take returns.

Frequently asked questions

Does Lemme GLP-1 work?

No trial has tested the finished capsule. Each of its three ingredients has its own trials at the same dose. The lemon extract Eriomin raised GLP-1 by 15% to 17% over 12 weeks in people with blood sugar above the normal range, and in the larger trial it did not change weight. Supresa saffron extract reduced snacking and weight in 60 mildly overweight women over 8 weeks. Morosil red orange extract produced more weight loss than placebo over 6 months in 136 adults who were also on a calorie-controlled diet and exercise plan.

Is Lemme GLP-1 the same as Ozempic?

No. Lemme's own page says Reset 'does not contain GLP-1 or synthetic GLP-1 and is not a GLP-1 receptor agonist'. Ozempic and Wegovy contain semaglutide, a modified version of the hormone built to resist breakdown. The body's own GLP-1 is 'extremely rapidly metabolized and inactivated', according to a 2007 review of its physiology, so a 15% to 17% rise in the natural hormone is not comparable to taking the drug.

What happened to Lemme GLP-1 Daily?

The product launched in September 2024 as GLP-1 Daily. On 21 October 2026 the same store listing, still at the address lemme-glp-1 and dated 11 September 2024, was titled Lemme Reset GLP-1 Production Support Capsules, with the same three ingredients and amounts. Lemme also sells a different product, Lemme GLP-1 Production Support, only at Walmart, with Eriomin plus chromium, berberine, myo-inositol, bitter melon and vitamin B12. They are different formulas.

Was Lemme sued over its GLP-1 supplement?

Yes. In 2025 a California consumer filed class actions in New York federal court and in California state court, arguing there was no clinical data that boosting natural GLP-1 causes sustained weight loss. The New York case was voluntarily dismissed without prejudice on 16 April 2025, a week after Lemme moved to dismiss. The California case, removed to federal court in November 2025, was dismissed by stipulation on 12 December 2025. The court records we read do not say whether there was a settlement. A third class action, Tiberia v. Lemme Inc. (C.D. Cal. No. 2:26-cv-07581), was filed on 13 July 2026 over Lemme GLP-1 Daily capsules bought on lemmelive.com, alleging deceptive marketing of appetite and weight-loss benefits from a GLP-1 increase. It had no ruling and was still open on 21 October 2026.

What are the side effects of Lemme GLP-1?

The trials of the individual ingredients did not report serious problems: the saffron trial reported no withdrawals attributable to the product, and the 6-month red orange trial found liver safety markers within the normal range. None of them tested the three together. Lemme's own label says to consult a doctor if you are pregnant, nursing, have low blood sugar, take medication or are under medical supervision. If you take diabetes medicine, that warning matters: the lemon extract was studied for lowering blood sugar.

Can I return Lemme GLP-1 if it does not work?

Not on lemmelive.com. Its refund policy on 21 October 2026 said: 'Currently, we do not offer Returns or Exchanges on orders.' It asks customers with a problem to contact customer support.
