How we review

Every article on Supplement Magazine is built on the same rule: trace each health claim to a primary source before we publish it.

Our sources

We rely on peer-reviewed studies, meta-analyses, professional position stands, and authoritative references such as the NIH Office of Dietary Supplements. We link those sources so you can check our work. When evidence is observational, small, or industry-funded, we say so.

How we judge a supplement

We report honest effect sizes, including "barely" and "no." We separate what is proven from what is marketing, and we call out hype. We only point readers toward a product when its ingredients have real published support and its price is reasonable.

Independence

Editorial content is independent of any commercial relationship. Some articles include one clearly-marked, disclosed buying option; it never changes our assessment. See ouraffiliate disclosure and editorial standards.
